Funny you should say that...

I have observed similar behavior on the CDM-8900 for some time but never 
really paid much attention to it. It was more down the line of a phone that 
I thought was charged suddenly displayed only one battery bar left and the 
only thing I remebered doing was run my apps on there for e few minutes 
and/or did one or two phone calls. Nothing that should normally suck the 
battery emtpry like this. This happened to me on a few occasions but I never 
investigated it, always blaming it on my being too stupid to really charge 
the phone.
