I think it's just bad luck. It happens with my 2 french keyboards (different 
models but both AZERTY), and not just in my game. I tried yesterday evening: 
same issue with Oni, Max Payne 2, etc, all the games I tried.

So.... well... not much I can do, I close that bug.
