Hello team, there has been a lot of people asking for a description of the game we are making so they can take part in developing it. During the brain storming session we decided that we will start with a basic arcade 2D type game, in a style that is well known. This is so people can learn basics of XNA, vector math, and rendering.

We decided we should make a game that most people would be able to easily imagine. Roid Rage TM was born. Most people have played or seen the game Asteroids or Astroblaster. You fly around in 2D space shoot and avoid alien ships, lasers, and asteroids. And you destroy aliens/asteroids with your weapons to score points. That is what our game Roid Rage will be like.

There will be power ups that you can pick up in the game, such as double/triple lasers, missiles, speed boost, and extra shields/lives. Another feature is that alien ships can be sitting on asteroids until disturbed then they take off and attack. There will be a score, and levels will get progressively harder by allowing more aliens/asteroids, and less power ups. The game only ends when the player dies so it gets harder into infinity.

That about sums it up. There is more information in the Tickets section, this is used to track the tasks that need to be done, it contains info of which tasks are not complete ( ticket status open ) which tasks someone has chosen to complete ( ticket status accepted ), and which tasks are finished ( ticket status closed ). If any bugs are discovered you may add those to the ticket system as well.

Also there hasn't been any updates for the last 1.5 weeks this is most likely due to people taking the 2 weeks off, because of no programming classes and trying to take a break from coding, at least it is for me. When class starts up again, there will be more updates.
