There is no "string objects". Only a String datatype. The String class methods 
are all statics.

So, for example, if your string is UTF-8 encoded (and only you know that, not 
Gambas), you convert it to lowercase this way:

MyUTF8StringInLowerCase = String.LCase(MyUTF8String)
