Gallery 2.2 Compatability?

I'm testing an installation of Gallery 2.2-rc-1 core 1.1.26. I've installed and configured checkout v0.1.14 and checkoutemail v0.0.7. Other than the site admin options, nothing seems to be showing up on the front-end of Gallery. There is no checkout button or checkout action in the cart actions menu. Is checkout compatible with Gallery 2.2 or could I have a configuration problem?

  I seemed to have solved my own problem. You cannot have both Cart (Shopping Cart Module) and Checkout (Shopping) activated at the same time. You have to deactivate Cart to use Checkout. checkoutemail is working under 2.2RC1, so I presume checkoutpaypal would work also.
