Thanks for your quick answers. I know that all of these features will be included in G2, but the problem is we cannot wait until the release of G2 (my deadline is 15 august), and that's why I have to "hack" them in the G1 engine. What I will do is make patches for the code, and then release these patches... hopefully some ideas inside will help you in the development of G2. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bharat Mediratta" <bh...@me...> To: "Markus Illenseer" <ma...@co...>; "Tibi Dondera" <tdo...@pr...> Cc: <gal...@li...> Sent: Tuesday, 30 July, 2002 19:34 Subject: Re: [Gallery-devel] Upgrading version 1.3 > > From: "Markus Illenseer" <ma...@co...> > > > > > - add some other metadata info for the pictures/albums (an extensible > set, > > > so that the user can enter pairs (key, value)) > > > - modify gallery1.3 to use imagemagick instead of NETPBM > > > - improve the search engine so that it includes the metadata > > > - adapt gallery to another graphic layout (maybe using templates) > > > > Ahem.
