Chris, Kevin -- can you guys set up a landing page in the codex explaining that Fotokasten is shutdown and pointing users at Digibug instead? And then provide that url to Ralph? He'll make it the landing page for Fotokasten users when the service is taken offline. thanks, -Bharat Ralph Hesse wrote: > Hi Bharat, > > sure thats no problem, we can forward the users to any given url. > > Best Regards, > Ralph > > > Am 06.02.2010 um 22:13 schrieb Bharat Mediratta: > >> Ralph Hesse wrote: >>> Hi Bharat, >>> sorry for the late reply. If you could do that it would help us greatly since we could then at least control the message that our users receive, which will cut down on unhappy users in our forums. Right know there are to many users just trying to use the fotokasten button in Gallery, but not interested in using it, they are just playing around. The fotokasten API is running on a old server, which can not handle the requests. So we should do some tasks: >>>>> >>>>> 1. I can create you a new ID which runs on a different server, which is faster. We can add this ID to the "new" plugin. But it should not updated automatically, so that not all users are going to the new server. >>>>> >>>>> Is this ok for you? >>>>> >>>>> Sorry, but the API is not a core function of our system anymore.
