The information on that page is 100% accurate. If they're as interested as you say, one of their developers should join this list and start asking questions! We have a defined process for this to make it easy for all parties involved, and if we let people use private e-mails for discussing things like this, the whole Gallery team would be busy responding to e-mails, answering the same questions over and over, and would never get any code written!
