Changing the font size in conversations works for me; however, when I exit out of Pidgin and then start the app again, it does not save the font size for the conversations. It does save the font size for the buddy list and other areas though...

Testing again with Extended Prefs 0.7 and pidgin 2.3.1:
All font changes work correctly except for the Information dialogue. Depending on the protocol that the information dialogue is showing, the font change works differently. For gtalk (xmpp) the font change works correctly and changes all font sizes in the Info dialogue. When I try to change the info dialogue font size for an MSN contact, only the 'Nickname' title and Nickname field changes. The Status, Has You, Blocked and General information section stay the same size for the MSN contact.
However, if I keep the font size at say 6, close the info dialogue for that MSN contact and re-open that dialogue (Get User Info) for the same MSN contact, the font size reflects correctly on all the fields in the info window.

I tried this with 0.7 and 0.8 cvs with pidgin 2.0.1 and GTK 2.10.6.
The font size in the Conversation window still doesn't change. What GTK version are you using?
