However, it may not be needed because Dario and I have been disussing just using system() to call gpg directly. Can anyone see a good reason not to? If we were going to bug the gpgme people to change anything, I'd rather it be to simply add keyserver functions to it. The auto-key-retrieve function I think only works when a key is needed to encrypt or verify a signature at this point, and gaim-e doesn't even get that far if a key is not in the keyring.
