Alright, I think the problem is with the makefile.  I
think when I fixed it I added -lgpgme to the lines
LIBS=
so I "think" it looked like 
LIBS= -lgpgme 
I'm not really sure.  I really just followed the
format of the makefile.  I'll take a look at my
machine and come back with a better answer when I
figure it out.  But I really think it is the libs have
to be mentioned in the Makefile.
