I installed gaim-e 0.9.7 and nearly everything run fine (the Rules.mk was empty; I deleted it to get it recreated). I am very content with your plugin.
However, after I updated from gnupg 1.0.x to gnupg 1.2.1, gaim crashed when I received a request for encryption. After I recompiled and reinstalled the gpgme libraries, everthing worked fine again.
I am just wondering, why *gaim* crashes. Maybe I don't know too much about your system and maybe the problem lies rather in the gpgme libraries; anyway, I expected an error message rather than a program crash. Maybe you can protect yourself from this in future releases.
[By the way: "BAD" seems to be bad keyword for the fingerprint for me. My first shot was, that the problem is a bad fingerprint....]
Thank you for this great software, anyway.
