It would be nice to have the one generic Windows icon
replaced with the correct specific Windows version icons.
I would really focus on the new versions. So I would
have one for 2000 and one for XP.

There may be issues with copyright on those icons. note that the current win one is backwards and upside down. But if someone were to make icons they could be put into GAG if there is enough room. The icons are stored in the executable so they eat up space. And we are limited to 16 colors--the same 16colors used by all the other icons. The way to make an icon is to use Gimp to make a 50x50 pixel icon in 16 colors and export it to a .c format. I dont know how you would get the correct 16 colors to work with. Have to ask raster.

If there were a large # of icons and GAG no longer was able to fit them all into the MBR etc. a compile time option might be needed to choose from a 'group' of icons which specified some and not others. It might also be possible to write the icons into the MBR along side the data that GAG is storing in a way that they could be modified by a user space program. this is an idea I'm working on for theme support. We would need a map of the MBR and how GAG is using it to chop it up for use by different features like this.
