I wish Gabber would drop the Gnome dependency
all-together. Most decent programs out there use only
GTK+ and build the rest themselves, I can't see any
advantage to GNOME-base, but there are many
disadvantages (such as requiring users to fill up their
hard drive with GNOME libs, and sucking up memory by
calling libraries with extra code unneeded for Gabber)

BTW, I'm an XFce on OpenBSD user.

    Feel free to rewrite it without GNOME support.

    With GTK2, there's a large possibility we will make it not
    depend on GNOME2, since GTK2 has *almost* everything we
    need/use from GNOME anyway.
