Not sure if there are any on mailing list that don't follow 
the project in other ways.

Finally got a process that supports UEFI boot using 
grub4dos.

Still has the syslinux iso for CD and regular boot from 
flash.
The grub4dos iso has both support for regular boot and 
uefi boot, but doesn't support cd setup.

copy to flash using dd or rufus for windows (other 
burners would probable work, but actual tested with 
rufus). Wipes flash, so need a clean flash. Uses gpt 
partition setup which is in iso, after burning. The rest of 
the flash can be used for other things.
