[G4l-general] from a dvd

After many failed attempts I finally made a DVD which has g4l on it AND
an image (.img) I made from a hard drive.

I load the DVD in and run g4l and try to get it to restore from the image
file I have on the DVD but it can't find it, and I can't figure out the
correct combination of menu entries  to restore it.  Can anyone help me?
This would be my prefered method because restoring via FTP takes a lot loneger.
Barring this, also restoring from a memory stick would be OK (second choice).
Can anyone help?
