I was wondering what setting i can modify to take some load off my net connection as When I am downloading somthing with G3 my connection will disconnect. any help would be appreciated

If you have a firewall, make sure G3 is exempted from being disconnected. Some may trigger on G3 simply because it may look like a DDOS trojan by making too many connections at once.
Don't have 20 simultaneous open torrents all downloading at once. Some ISP will disconnect if they see too many connections to one user.
Assuming that you have only one torrent open at any one time, Go to preferences and set a smaller value for the number of users connected to you at any one time.
