Hi there, A few days ago I upgraded to FWB2.07 on WinXP, I opened the .fwb file for my "home" firewall, was prompted to upgrade the file to the new version and did a compile/install without any rule changes just to check everything was OK, it was :-) Today I needed to make a change on my "work" firewall, so loaded up the other .fwb file and found that FWB2.07 crashes everytime when opening this file, before it even asks if it should upgrade the file :-( I downgraded to 2.06 and it still happily accepts the file, so I've done my change with that version, should I send in a copy of the offending .fwb file? Is there anything "sensitive" inside the file I should strip out first? Both firewalls are iptables, the home one is a routing/nat type, the work one is a bridging type, both with external as well as internal subnets. |
