like checkpoint AI or Netscreen Deep Inspaction ?

    you can create a Custom Service object, put something like
    "-m layer7 --l7proto foo" in it and use it right now.

    BTW layer7 module for iptables useful if we can redirect it to
    other rule. So it require new FirewallAction class and custom rule
    naming.

    Yes, Custom Service does indeed work, but it would be nice
    to have "standard" support of it as well.

    It would take a bit of work to make it standard as there are
    SOOOO MANY options to just the Layer7 stuff. Its a request..
    it'd be nice.
