A new version of FVS has been released, FVS 2! You can donwload the latest source from the CVS repository, download intructions are available at the fvs website http://fvs.sf.net/. FVS 2 uses C++ classes to make things easier to use and understand. I do understand that there are a few system that do not support C++ but I think that its more important that fvs is easy to use. Right now FVS 2 has the functions to open bitmap files, the basic image manipulation functions (edge detection, image dilating, and thinning), it also has functions to find the minutias in the image, it identifies the type of minutia it is, the x and y location, and the angle of degree it makes. Finally, for anyone who has AIM\AOL it is possible to contact me through there, my screen name is shivangp2.

Sincerely,
Shivang Patel

-- Get your free email from www.linuxmail.org Powered by Outblaze |
