Well after months of planning and a recent rejuvenation of the project Fusion Linux lives in version 0.1alpha1. Version 0.1, code named Neutrino, is the first step into a much bigger world. Alpha 1 is the "Get it out there release". Its extremely bare bones. Requirements are 32megs of ram (could probably go lower but we didn't test), an i586 or better (this will be fixed in Alpha 2), roughly 300megs of hard disk space (also to be fixed in Alpha 2). We are already planing a kick ass package management system called Nuke. We might want to warn those newbies out there this distro is NOT for you. To install Fusion takes a bit of know how about the basic setup and layout of a Linux system. SO if you feel empowered you can get your copy at your local SourceForge mirror.... read more
