Hi everybody,

I Worked pretty hard these weeks to implement a proper template caching system! Fusion Board will be a lot faster than before as it won't compile templates at every page request.

The first time the template is called, it will compile it, then save the compiled version into the cache/ directory. A compiled template looks like a HTML page mixed with PHP codes. When a cached template is available, the template class simply execute it and show the result. ... read more

Hi everyone.

I didn't posted any news or releases for a huge while (almost 2 years?). Let me explain everything.

I had lost some motivations working on FB. It's an ambitious project, and it needs a LOT of work. I decided to work on a game I started, since I'll study to become a 3D animator(video games), and making a video game(even in 2D) still a great thing to mention in a CV, for this kind of job. So I decided to stop developing Fusion Board, but I didn't wanted to fully cancel the project, it was too well started to stop it, and has some unique things any other boards can't offer. The new development version of Fusion Board is now available for download on SourceForge, make sure you don't miss this release! heheh...

Remember that is it a development version, many features and pages aren't available yet or do not works properly.

We haven't posted any news for a while, but keep in mind that the project is still alive.

I am very busy now, so the project involves a bit slowly, but I'm still working on it!

Since some weeks, I worked extremely hard on Fusion Board. The project grow up with giant steps. I improved the existing pages and added other features. I also optimized the source code, for a faster board.

Soon, I will put a downloadable Zip file that contains what I've finished. You will be able to test it on your local server, or on your host.

YOU CANNOT USE FUSION BOARD AS PERMANENT FORUM. THE AVAILABLE FILES ARE AVAILABLE ONLY FOR TESTING PURPOSES. FUSION BOARD IS NOT FINISHED YET AND STILL MISSES SOME FUNCTIONALITIES WHICH WILL BE ADDED LATER. Thank you.
