If you upgrade to RHEL 5.4 (or CentOS 5.4) then you will have fuse 
support without needing to install or build anything and you can go 
ahead and make your concatfs.   You may need to install some fuse rpms: run

     yum list '*fuse*'

to see what is available.

You should upgrade anyway: you are running, I believe, an unpatched RHEL 
5.2 (or CentOS 5.2 or some other clone) and you certainly have security 
patches to install.  Just run "yum update" ...
