Thanks for the feedback - I just installed Sierra on my machine and I don't have any problems running Fuse 1.3.0 so far or see this message (I did however get some OS lockups just plugging in a USB mouse on Sierra without running Fuse at all - I think there may still be some OS bugs hopefully resolved in the next patch)
The IOCreatePlugInInterfaceForService function is just used in the USB joystick handling code - do you use any USB devices on your computer? Could you try disconnecting them to compare the result?

OK so finally got to check this. I have a Thunderbolt hub connected to my iMac and a USB3 hub connected to that. I have a number of devices connected to that USB3 hub. When I disconnected the USB3 hub from the Thunderbolt hub and fired up Fuse, the error wasn't displayed. When I connected it back up and reran Fuse, the error was back. So it looks like something connected to my USB3 hub. I do have an XBox 360 wireless dongle attached to it, so could be that?

It is absolutely possible - it sounds like you are able to get the results you want in Fuse aside from this popup? If so, I will downgrade the message so that it doesn't make a popup for the next release.

Getting this error on fuse 1.2.2 and 1.3.0 on macOS Sierra. Any ideas?
Failed to create **plugInInterface via IOCreatePlugInInterfaceForService.
Thanks :)

Sorry Fred, just seen this. I will unplug my USB devices and try it and report back.

Hi Fred, 1.3.1 seems to have got rid of the error so many thanks for sorting this :)
Glad to hear it :)
