ZX Interface 1 can be attached to real +3/+2A via ZX Bus fixers like ZX-Fixer or ZX Bus protector. Works in 48 BASIC mode only.
Looks like a HW port patch, similar to what I did to allow Didaktik D40 floppy be connected to ZX spectrum 128K. There it works under 48K Basic mode only as well.
