Playing JSW2, I'm walking left or right by holding down the “O” or “P” buttons. Command-B to bookmark, later command-Z to revert. Sometimes after the revert, and I can’t quite pin down when, the machine now walks for me automatically, as if it is holding down the button pressed at the time of the bookmark. Mighty inconvenient if it happens before a jump that needs to be pixel-perfect. Please could this stop happening.

Further playing suggests that it is the key being held down during a recent (but not necessarily the most recent) revert. Certainly the behaviour is odd and wrong.

Indeed, I now seem unable to escape a walking-right mode in my attempt at a play-through of JSW2. Reverting to ever-earlier bookmarks doesn’t help. Abandon!
(If there were a “Continue recording…” feature requested elsewhere
https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1701247&group_id=91293&atid=596651
then I could stop recording, quit the machine, and restart play after tea.)

This is likely only reproducible on the OS X version, as there the other versions don't have a hot key for inserting a snapshot, but I wonder if this is due to saving a snapshot with a key pressed and then reloading the image so the Spectrum thinks that a key is pressed, but the emulator isn't telling it so. If so, this is likely resolvable by sending a key_release_all type message on snapshot load.
jdaw1: I think everything will work OK if you don't try to bookmark while a key is pressed.

jdaw1: Could you please attach the RZX to this bug? Zip it if it will not fit...

I can't reproduce this with the GTK+ UI (using the Insert and Delete keys), so it would appear to be Mac OS X-specific. (I will be careful to test this on the Win32 UI, too, though.)
