From [feature-requests:#90], BogDan Vatra reports:

I found a problem with the sound when I'm opening a .scl/.trd file when another one is already opened and it's playing some music. The sound frame is not blanked and you hear the last part until the new games starts to paly it's own music

Fred has found out that AY registers are populated from the previous run.

Loading tapes and +3 disks with auto-load enabled, load a snapshot that trigger a hard reset. Loading TRD/SCL files from File->Open boot the disk without resetting the machine. Other disk interfaces (Opus Discovery, DISCiPLE, +D, Didaktik 80) don't autoload disks.

It seems that File->Open is intended to load new games like a cold start, while Media->Disk->Insert keeps the running machine. This tentative patch force a reset when auto-loading a beta disk.

No alternatives have been raised. I plan to fix this before the upcoming release.
