#134 scaled_pitch should be variable

scaled_pitch is calculated at compile time for the greatest scaling factor, which means that at lower scaling factors, there are unused bytes at the end of each row of pixel data -- unfortunately, these unused bytes are likely to be paged in, so this seems a little wasteful.
