High memory usage when creating thumbnails
Status: Beta
Brought to you by:

When creating thumbnails for a new collection, memory was filled up very fast.
After approximately 5 thumbnails made, fuppes process was taking up >1GB of resident memory.
Compiled on Fedora 14 as described at http://fuppes.ulrich-voelkel.de/wiki/index.php?title=Compiling_on_Fedora
Same behavior was observed when I compiled last time (~Sept. 2010)
P.S. this maybe be specific to .mp4 files
Think I found the cause -- all files related to the problem were damaged. Missing index in .avi files and missing content (not sure if blank or extents)
