Propose changing to dose_factor, as per the FuGO
Developers call of 17th May:

A variable in a study or investigation that aims to
examine the response of an individual organism, group
or population of organisms to agents at different
amounts or concentrations. The agent may be any
measureable agent such as a chemical, light, sound
etc. e.g., a variable in a study that aims to
establish the response of bacteria to different
amounts of ultraviolet light, a variable in a study
that aims to establish the response of an individual
to a drug.
