Can someone explain to me what the files in .cache are for exactly (other than cache)? I think it's all the cached PGP stuff for each individual incremental backup? I'm just wondering exactly what it does and what would happen if it were deleted or something similar. The files are of these types for each backup: duplicity-inc.20100624T084107Z.to.20100625T084107Z.manifest duplicity-inc.20100625T084107Z.to.20100626T084107Z.manifest duplicity-inc.20100626T084107Z.to.20100627T084107Z.manifest duplicity-inc.20100627T084107Z.to.20100628T084107Z.manifest duplicity-new-signatures.20100605T084105Z.to.20100606T084105Z.sigtar.gz duplicity-new-signatures.20100606T084105Z.to.20100607T084106Z.sigtar.gz duplicity-new-signatures.20100607T084106Z.to.20100608T084105Z.sigtar.gz duplicity-new-signatures.20100608T084105Z.to.20100609T084105Z.sigtar.gz Why are they so big? I have one server, granted with lots of backups, but the .cache folder is ~10GB. Thanks, Jeremy |
