Hi Guys, I really wonder why duply restores my private gpg key when I delete it from the secret keyring. My understanding is that the program uses only the public key to encrypt my backup. So for security reasons It makes sense to remove the private key to the server and put it on a stick in a save. But everytime when I remove the secret key from the gpg secring it gets restored as soon as I start duply PROFILENAME backup. Do you know how I can disable the restore of the key? why is he stored anywhere else on my computer? Cheers Daniel |
