kernel freeze when interrupting program
Status: Beta

i'm using ftpfs-0.6.2 with kernel 2.4.6 on a debian
system. i have now experienced 3 total kernel freezes
in one day with ftpfs. they have all occurred when i
was accessing an ftpfs-mounted partition with cp or
mpg123 and then interrupted the program with ctrl-c.
many times it works like expected, but occasionally, my
system totally freezes and i can neither log in via
network or serial console nor ping the machine so i
figure the kernel has completely frozen.
otherwise my system is very stable so i'm pretty sure
this has something to do with ftpfs.

I just did
grep stuff *
on an ftpfs mounted partition, all running apps locked up
solid, no keyboard response. Had to hit the reset button.
My box did return pings though, but I couldn't ssh in.
There were quite a few files in the directoy. maybe 80 some
.php files, non of them were that all that large.
