fslurp is a program to pull the data from a Fronius inverter systems
via a serial port connection.

It supports both single and multiple inverter systems through the
Interface Card Easy and the Fronius Interface Card/DataLogger Box. Fronius Sensor Card devices are also supported.

It supports both human-readable and delimited (CSV-style) text output.

Sample output can be seen by building project and exercising one
of the test simulator targets (e.g. simIFCEasy).

It is written in C++ and has been compiled on Linux.

  • Executes exactly as advertised. Well done to the author.
  • I thought about buying an expensive Logger like SunLog 500. After that I tested different software with a Raspberry Pi. None was working. When I got in contact with fslurp. It was quite difficult to connect my Fronius IG-TL 4 with an RS422-USB-Adapter. After I got data connect and couldn't log the power production I sent an email to David and he managed it. Now I get all the information I need. Great Project!!!
  • Fabulous, just worked. Extremely annoying that we have to pay AUD 3k for an inverter (now on my third one; first one failed at 2 years, second one within a week), and an extra AUD 400 for a data card, and then not get software. But fslurp is beautiful - thanks David.

  • It just works. Minimal tweaking, only had to change the default bitrate, and off I went. Thanks for a useful application.

  • Just wanted to say thanks for a great little program, and for your quick help on getting it to run on a guruplug. Datalogging with an attached 1TB drive consumes only 14 watts, which drops to 8 watts when fslurp stops reporting and the drive spins down!
