Here is the first prerelease of fsimp-0.0.5.0 It has preliminary support for selecting your gpg key and signing your password buy output to stdout, but it doesn't send it yet because I'm not sure if I am doing it correctly. Let me know if you get it to recognize your keys.
I am not making my weekly release this week, because there has been heavy development towards GPG authentication that is not complete, much less in a state to be released. You can check out CVS if you want to have the latest.
This release focuses on documentation and code cleanup. Next release will focus on getting GPG authentication started on the client and server.
This release mainly fixes some bugs that were standing in the way of me working. Now that they are fixed, I will start work on fully documenting the protocol and such.
I have released a new version of fsimpd, but for right now the new client will have to wait as I figure out how to best distribute it. Expect it in a few hours.
I am such an idiot, I forgot to add the header files in the last release, so it will not build. The next release, on friday, WILL work as expected though, so don't loose hope yet!
I have started on the initial design and planning, as well as having made an EXTREMELY simple server and client. The client will most likely be scrapped later and will be replaced by a modified GAIM, but for now it will serve to test the server.
