Open Frontier BBS / News: Recent posts

The original files from "Frontier" have now been released. They are available at the homepage and through the file section of the project.

This is the starting point of Open Frontier BBS, the port of Frontier to Linux.

the first challenge is going to be porting the compiler and its tools.

I now have some more time on my hands and will start looking good at the source code from Francis.
I think i will restart all the different parts of the projects, and probably make them more "unixish" from the start. The first thing to get over are: finding documentation on the ppe bytecode format, debug the encryption, and write the appropriate docs. i have a dummy compiler (just a banner really) with a squelleton for the switches, options, etc...... read more
