Which distro are you using? Also, do you know if, when you ran ./configure, it chose to using 'mozilla-plugin' from iceweasel? If you wish, you can make freewrl install the plugin directly to /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins (or whatever the plugin path is for iceweasel) by specifying the --with-plugindir= option to ./configure Finally, does freewrl run as a standalone program? if not, it could be that the plugin is having trouble finding the main libFreeWRL.so file, in which case you should update your LDPATH or LD_LIBRARY_PATH to include /usr/local/lib |
