Category: video Group: 1.x svn (rel-1) Status: Open >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: schirrms (schirrms) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: In mkv files, not able to select audio and subtitle track Initial Comment: Hi, I have some mkv files, with one video track, two audio track, and 6 subtitle tracks and some chapters defined. In freevo 1.7 (svn version) when I select this mkv file, in the extended menu, I can see in the 'audio selection menu' my two audio track. If I select the second audio track, I still listen the first. The command line that freevo give to mplayer is the same in the two cases. In the subtitle track menu, I see my 6 subtitle choices, but whatever I choose, no subtitle at all. Again, he command line that freevo give to mplayer is the same in the two cases. Stating mmplayer with the freevo command line, but playind with -aid (to select the soundtrack) or -sid (to select the subtitle track) works fine. The chapter selection works fine within freevo. I've done much more than I wanted to and I'm not 100% happy with the fix, as I added kaa.metadata to videoitem instead of to media item. You may need to do a freevo cache --rebuild Can you test, and try DVDs and AVIs too. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: schirrms (schirrms) Date: 2007-03-09 20:36 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1134718 Originator: YES Hi, One new information : If the mkv file has more than 2 soundtrack, you can selct the soundtrack -1. That is : selectint the soundtrack 3 let you listen to the soundtrack 2 (I believe that selecting the soundtrack 2 select in fact the soundtrack 1, but that's the default behavior !)
