Linux Port Underway + New Forum

A Linux port is well underway that is using Mono and SDL. We have been joined in our quest to continue this great project by the SdlDotNet lead programmer - nobody could be more qualified to get the Linux port off the ground.

Extra Plugins Pack Released

A package containing 233 plugins for FreeTrain has been released. It adds hundreds of trains, structures, terrain features and other goodies to the game. See the release notes for more details.

First Beta Available

You can now download a beta version of the translated FreeTrain from our download section.

Please note that all future news will appear on the website instead of here.

SVN Import, Infrastructure

The Japanese version of FreeTrain has been imported into SVN. The mailing lists are up. Next up is installing wordpress and attracting a developer or two who has a clue!
