No

Hello,
it seems that, in FreeRTOS v9.0.0, at least KEIL (RVDS) Cortex-M4 RT kernel port requires core to feature floating-point unit (FPU).

FYI, FPU is an optional feature of Cortex-M4. For instance, our SAM4C device (from Atmel now Microchip) is a dual-core device which only secondary core features FPU.

None of our customers who use KEIL can use FreeRTOS due to this.

I kindly request you to include this new feature in next release.

Best regards,
Daniel

Sorry - I really don't understand this feature request because you can use FreeRTOS on Cortex-M4 devices that don't have an FPU. This really should be posted to the support forum first, before opening a feature request, so for now I am going to mark this as invalid. If, after discussing this on the support forum, you think there is something that is preventing you from running FreeRTOS on your parts then we can re-open this request.
