#83 FreeRTOS with RX631 and Eclipse

I have the following hardware and software :

FreeRTOS
RX631ACD (780kbyte Program memory)
Eclipse (Renesas E2 version) with Kpit GCC compiler
E1 emulator
Sample program for RX63N for Ecllipse/GCC from: renesasrtossolutions.org

All software is currently the latest versions.

The RTOS appears to work (two tasks), when compiling everything for RX631BCD (1Mbyte), but does not run tasks when set up correctly for our ACD(780k) device

The sample had been written for the RX63N , which I believe is identical to our processor except it has network capability.

We also appear to work with the RX63NB device, so memory size is more our problem

Looking at the RTOS code I cannot see any memory size references, it all seems to be picked up from the eclipse environment.

Any ideas would be most welcome
