I'd like to try and fix the issues with the preview panos first.
Also it might be interesting to see how it works with software rendering,
since many people won't have proper drivers installed, I fear. Maybe we have
to provide a low quality parameter set for software rendering.

After that a release is definitely needed :-)

The windows plugin is still not very good, I haven't had time to implement a
proper update method, but I guess windows users are not interested in the
current state of the plugin anyway.
