FreePDB / News: Recent posts

A new release with lots of good things (this has been accumulating for far too long). Read the release notes for more details but the big ticket items are:
Documentation
Daylight savings transitions
Derived (calculated) fields

Bug fixes, made more robust.
Added lots of Windows stuff (now installs and runs on windows for people who get excited about that sort of thing).
Made some improvements to the documentation (mostly still word documents embedded in the distribution) but much more needed.

I have finally put the current version of FreePDB up.
This doesn't mean I've been busy working on it, just that I have finally pulled my finger out and uploaded what I have been happily using for about a year and a half.
Installation should be a straightforward perl install, after you've looked after the pre-reqs that will be as long as your arm.
Actually, most of the pre-reqs are optional but you will loose functionality.... read more
