For the second time when upgrading an "embedded" flavoured NAS from 0.69beta or RC to another 0.69 release, the XML configuration is empty after reboot.
It happened to me previously on a beta to other beta upgrade, but this time it happened on upgrade from RC2 to release.
Replacing the zero-sized config.xml to the previously-saved one using a FreeBSD LiveCD solved the problem (but still, it is rather difficult to achieve), and got upgraded nicely on next boot.

I attach the configuration file (as before the upgrade) which used to be wiped to the present, in case it could be useful.

I'm sorry, but i can't reproduce this error on my test machine. I've installed 0.69 and restored the config. After reboot the systems was ok (i had to reconfigure the network).

Nothing to do with svn revision 4385? :-P

I don't think so because i added this code some days ago.

Hmm, i just upgraded from .69 to .69.1 embedded and it went ok. The system rebooted up and all the config was intact. Maybe this was fixed in on of the revisions following .69... Can anyone else confirm if they're still seeing this problem ?
