We have already a release version, but in the last minute, one string was changed completely. Dear all translators, I would like you to listen to the following wishes from me: often the translators use popeye which removes all kind of comments. So, please add all former translators and your (sourceforge user ) name to the file. It is very time consuming to keep track of all 34 translations we have so far, so I would like all translators to organize themselves. For me this means, that the list of current translations in the wiki is maintained by each translator as well as to contact current translators by new ones. It seems good to have more than one translator for a language. If translations arrive from different authors, I can't decide which translation is better. This can only be done by you. What I do before commiting a new translation is to look whether or not it is more complete in the sense that more keys have been translated. If this is the case, I'll normally commit the translation assuming that the current translation was used as a base. Even this is often dificult to see for me (thanks to popeye which doesn't keep the sorting of the keys *grr*). What I want you to do is to discuss the translations with other fellows for the same language to get a unified version. Thanks in advance, Chris |

Hi Eric, a translation can have more keys than the english one when it uses localized keys like LocalProperties.keystroke_node_increase_font_size = control PLUS which aren't included in the english version. But you are right: having much more than the number of english keys means, that some of them are doubled.
