#184 line ends not preserved

version 0.80 in Windows w/Java5

This is a collection of bugs which all exhibit the same
behavior: line ends (new lines) are not preserved.

(1) Pasting text into a node - newlines in clipboard
are removed.

(2) exporting to OOo file - newlines in node text are
removed.

Any other instances?
