#1175 Name change in Manage patterns editor does not persist

Operating System: Mac OS X Mavericks
Java: 1.6

Steps:
1. Press F11 to bring up pattern manager
2. Select a pattern.
3. Type new text in the "Name" field to rename the pattern.
4. Click "Save and return".

Expected:
Pattern name is changed and saved.

Actual:
The change is completely ignored and lost.

I observe this bug too.
OS: Windows 7
Java: 1.8
Freemind: 1.0.1

Process monitor reports a "END OF FILE" error when reading c:\Users\xxxxx\.freemind\patterns.xml
This file contains a single line with 3865 characters, no line breaks.
If I make a change to a pattern name in the GUI and save it, the new name DOES NOT appear in the file
If I manually change the file with a text editor and save it, the new name DOES appear in the GUI.
