I've just installed version 1.0 of freemind and I noticed that when I use the automatic layout, I can't create new nodes from the root node (but I can from other nodes). Also the application behaves erratically after I apply automatic layout and I have to force quit to exit it.
Freemind seems to work fine when I don't use automatic layout.

Details:
- MacOS Lion (10.7.3)
- When I first installed Freemind 1.0 I did not delete my freemind 0.9 copy
- I had a customized automatic layout that I created in freemind 0,9
- Since then I deleted both copies and reinstalled Freemind 1.0. The problem persists
- I also deleted any freemind files I found in the Library folder, included freemind preferences, before reinstalling Freemind 1.0, without success.
