[Freeglut-developer] Normal vectors in "GL_LINES" drawing

Does anybody know whether the normal vector has any meaning when drawing a
bunch of "GL_LINES" or "GL_LINE_LOOP" vertices?  I am working up some
"glutWireOctahedron" and similar functions and need to know whether to keep
the "glNormal3f" calls in the functions.
