When I try to use the NX remote windows software (from nomachine.com) between my Linux and Windows computers, my freeglut software fails to work on my Linux box. I seem to remember that some older glut based software, and glxgears do work on that connection. As using my program through the remote connection would sometimes be convenient, finding out the real cause is on my long list of things to do. I think that the classic glut and freeglut use different methods for querying the available OpenGL frame buffer configurations. Eero |
